Where are you located?

The newborn session takes place in a natural light residential studio in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

 

When should I schedule my newborn session?

Ideally, you will want to schedule your newborn session within the first 2 weeks after delivery. If you are outside of this window, no problem. Babies are typically very sleepy within the first 10 days of their birthday. Photographing older newborns is possible but they are not as sleepy during the session.

How long does each newborn session last?

Each session lasts approximately 2-3 hours depending on the size of your family and how quickly baby settles. Frequent breaks are needed for feeding and settling your baby.

 

What should I bring?

I provide the baby wraps, blankets, and accessories to make your experience as stress free as possible. I do ask that you bring a pacifier with you to help soothe baby during the session. I will help you with wardrobe selection prior to your appointment.

Are siblings and parents included?

Yes, siblings and parents are always welcome and encouraged to be part of the session.
